Von Nick Cave und seinen Mannen kommt im Januar ne DVD:

THE ABATTOIR BLUES TOUR
Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds will release a live double DVD on January 29th 2007. The release features several songs from their Abattoir Blues / The Lyre of Orpheus, in addition to an array of classic material. The two disc DVD contains footage of two live concerts: disc one is taken from the second of the bands’ three sold out Brixton Academy London shows filmed on 11th November 2004 during the “Abattoir Blues” European tour; the second disc offers excerpts from the Hammersmith Apollo show filmed on 7th June 2003 during the “Nocturama” tour. The DVDs also include all the promotional videos from the last two albums, plus special bonus behind the scenes footage shot by Bad Seeds guitarist Mick Harvey during the making of the “Bring It On” video.

Also available is a limited edition Deluxe Box containing the DVDs and a two CD set comprising of live recordings from various concert dates on the “Abattoir Blues” tour 2004. These recordings will also be available as digital downloads and as a two CD set exclusively from Mute Bank.

Yo, davon hat er auf dem Konzert in Bonn erzählt. Wollte aber irgendwie nicht näher drauf eingehen..

Das Konzert war spitze. Sehr schöne Atmosphäre, war zwar alles bestuhlt, aber nach 3 Songs saß keiner mehr, und alles hat sich nach vorne vor die Bühne gedrängt
Cave (Klavier, Gitarre) war ja ohne die Bad Seeds da, dafür mit den Tüpen seines neuen Projekts (Schlagzeug, Geige und Bass). Er hat diverse Songs spontan auf Zurufe gespielt, insgesamt über 2h gezaubert und die Halle total verrückt gemacht.
Mein Favorit war 'ne total irre Version von Mercy Seat.

Wir hatten ja ziemlich dolle Plätze (Reihe 2) und haben trotz minderwertiger Fotoausrüstung 'n paar schöne Bilder geknipst.

ja, das bärtchen ist es... und wohl auch der körperspeck. gewöhnungsbedürftig.
ist ja eigentlich auch wuppe. hauptsache, die musik kling gut! und das tut sie wohl.

ich entschuldige mich nun aufrichtig bei denjenigen, dessen gott/vorbild/etc. ich infamer weise beleidigt habe

Gott? Vorbild? Beleidigt? Infam? Inflationärer Gebrauch von Kraftausdrücken! Nicht immer so übertreiben. Aber gerade bei Nick Cave ist nun wirklich die Musik das Wichtigste.

Und bei Nick Cave interessiert das Aussehen genau so wenig wie bei Shakira die Musik.
