For the eighth time, SUMMONING opens the gates to Middle Earth, choosing to sink deeper into its shadows: The track "Mirdautas Vras" is sung entirely in the black tongue of Mordor—the language of the Orcs!

Accompanied by darkness, the Austrian duo embarks on a musical journey based on the writings of J.R.R. Tolkien. Oath Bound takes on The Silmarillion, The Unfinished Tales, as well as various myths and legends from The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit remaining true to SUMMONING's atypical modus operandi. This time, however, the guitar has found its way back to the forefront of this offering, bringing about the band's Fourth Age.

Bevor das Fragezeichen ausgewechselt wird, höre ich es mir lieber mal an, was allerdings nichts daran ändert, dass nach der Verfilmung von "Herr der Ringe" das Thema ausgereizt sein sollte.

In der Musik-Szene kenne ich persönlich nur wenige Bands, die sich mit Mittelerde befasst haben, u.a. Blind Guardian.
Mal sehen, was Summoning anstellt, vielleicht lohnt es sich ja.

Summoning machen das in der Art schon seit einer ganzen Weile, wenn du bei dem älteren Material reinhören willst, findest du sicherlich an einschlägigen orten sicherheitskopien
